The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Jeddah, in cooperation with the Exporters Association of Uzbekistan, organized a meeting of Uzbekistan-Saudi businessmen and meetings in the B2B format in Jeddah.
While introducing the activities of their companies, the Saudi businessmen spoke about the possibilities of exporting Uzbek products to Saudi Arabia.
Amin Zakariat Khoja, director of Establishment Bazar Asia For Trading in Saudi Arabia, shared his experience of bringing 4.5 tons of ceramic products (gifts) from Uzbekistan to the kingdom.
After that, businessmen of the two countries held meetings in the B2B format and discussed the directions of mutual cooperation.
Mohammad al-Safh, head of international cooperation department of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that all Saudi importing companies will send contact information to Uzbek exporters. In this way, Uzbek businessmen will be able to establish direct relations with Saudi businessmen.
During the B2B meetings, the issue of delivery and distribution of Uzbekistan’s export products to Saudi Arabia was discussed with the representatives of Leisure Cargo and Logistic Company of the kingdom.
The issues of exporting dry and wet fruits, sports goods and various fertilizers from Uzbekistan, the possibility of growing and exporting agricultural products by renting land in the country, and establishing mutual cooperation in various directions were discussed with other companies.
