The final destination of the train with more than 1,000 tons of goods, including household appliances and auto parts, with a total value of $4.4 million, is Uzbekistan, where the cargo should be delivered within 20 days, Kazinfrom reports. 

The freight train will pass through the seaport of Lianyungang (Jiangsu Province, East China). Since 2014, a Kazakh logistics terminal has been operating in Lianyungang.

According to Huang Hongliang, Chairman of the Association of Foreign Trade Enterprises of Jiangsu Province, the new route takes full advantage of the logistics freight traffic from Lianyungang to Central Asia.

It is noted that the city of Wuxi is one of the key centers of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. At the end of 2021, Wuxi’s trade turnover for the first time exceeded $100 billion, of which exports - $65 billion, imports - $40 billion.
