Demand for tickets to Uzbekistan increased steadily in summer

Tajikistan became the only country where the demand for flights from which to Uzbekistan decreased in the summer, Spot reported citing Aviasales.uz.

The number of search requests for air tickets to Uzbekistan from Russia increased by 141%, from Turkey - by 144%. Demand in South Korea rose even more - tickets were searched there 2.8 times more often than a year earlier.

Demand for tickets in neighboring Kazakhstan rose by 46%. Analysts also noted an increase in the United States - Americans made 60% more requests for flights to Uzbekistan.

On average, foreigners searched for and ordered tickets to Uzbek cities 2.4 times more compared to the summer season of 2021.

Over the past year, a flight to Uzbekistan from Russia has risen in price by 14% and now costs 1.96 million soums on average. Prices for tickets from the United States rose even more - by 26% or up to 9.89 million soums.

At the same time, it has become cheaper for travelers from other countries to fly to Uzbekistan. Ticket prices from Kazakhstan decreased by 26%, from South Korea - by 22%. 

Among users from Russia, residents of Vladivostok and Moscow are most often interested in flights to Uzbekistan. Americans are mainly looking for tickets from New York, Turks - from Ankara, Kazakhs - from Nur-Sultan.

The service also notes the positive dynamics of demand for international flights to Uzbekistan in the fall. The top countries include Russia, Korea, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Belarus, as well as Germany and Israel.

Russian tour operators also noted an increase in the number of requests and bookings for autumn flights. According to industry experts, the end of the hot season will mark the beginning of a new wave of demand for tours.
