Active participation in the forum can give impetus to the development of bilateral relations in the investment and banking and financial sectors, a significant increase in exports of products manufactured in Uzbekistan, and also contribute to the development of new investment projects.

According to the diplomatic mission, the Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Poland, Piotr Kocoń, appealed to the business community of Poland to take an active part in the forum in his article “The Mission of Polish Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan”. In his opinion, Uzbekistan is a market with great potential, this is determined by the presence of export opportunities, namely such goods as cotton, gold, wool, textiles, energy, natural gas, vegetables and fruits.

Piotr Kocoń calls the owners of the largest Polish companies to expand their contacts, open up new opportunities for developing their business, meet with local top companies and businessmen. For these purposes, the Honorary Consul proposed to organize a charter flight for the Polish participants to Tashkent on March 23-27.

In general, participation in the Tashkent International Investment Forum, according to Piotr Kocon, will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with investors, logistics, operational and new transport solutions that will help strengthen business cooperation between Polish and Uzbek companies. The forum will also make it possible to discuss whether the companies of the two countries are suffering from disruption of the supply chain, to consider new or consolidate existing projects.

“Uzbekistan offers wide access to its market and business partners that you will not find anywhere else! Join a group of top entrepreneurs who want to expand their contacts and scale up their business using the potential of Uzbekistan! The Tashkent Investment Forum will open up opportunities to build relationships with representatives of those industries that you care about,” Piotr Kocoń concluded.

During a meeting with the head of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Poland, Bakhrom Babayev, Piotr Kocoń stressed that Poland is a country with great economic opportunities. Currently, there is a search for new business partners, especially among the countries of the East. Last year, close contacts were resumed with China, India, Korea, Turkey and a number of ASEAN countries. In the last two annual reports of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland to the Parliament of the country, a gradual increase in the importance of the countries of Central Asia, in particular Uzbekistan, in the doctrine of Poland’s foreign policy is noticeable.

The plans for 2022 set by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland are aimed at taking bilateral relations to a higher level. During meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cabinet of Ministers, Parliament and with experts from Poland, the Polish side confirmed its interest in Uzbekistan, where a completely new situation has been created in recent years. The leadership of Poland sees significant major positive changes in Uzbekistan, the initiator and architect of which is the Head of State. This was also repeatedly emphasized during the political consultations held on March 16, 2021 in Warsaw, the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation on April 14 last year and other meetings.
