Today, January 14, at 11:15 the steam and gas power plant with a capacity of 240 MW in Kibray began to supply power to the unique electricity network of Uzbekistan.
This thermal power plant will generate 2.0 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year.
Due to the high efficiency of the devices, 290 million cubic meters of natural gas have been saved per year. The saved natural gas will generate an additional 1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity.
The project worth $150 million was implemented by the Turkish company Aksa Enerji at the expense of direct investments.
