Footwear exports decreased by $517 thousand compared to the same period last year.

During the period under review, Uzbekistan exported footwear products mainly to the following countries:

• Kyrgyzstan - $19.1 million
• Kazakhstan - $7.7 million
• Tajikistan - $5.3 million
• Russia - $925 thousand
• Afghanistan - $631 thousand

According to the committee, Andijan region was the largest exporter of footwear in the 11 months of 2021 ($15.1 million).
