In January-June 2021, law enforcement agencies revealed 372.7 billion soums worth of budget violations. Of this, 313.7 billion soums were returned to the budget, the Finance Ministry reports.
Violations of financial legislation related to paying wages and similar payments in budgetary organizations amounted to 120.1 billion soums, including cases of misappropriation of cash and the assumption of arrears in the amount of 25.4 billion soums.
455 control measures carried out in the system of the Ministry of Public Education revealed 336 violations. The total damage was 65.2 billion soums, which is 3 times more than in the same period of 2020 (21.5 billion soums).
96 violations causing a damage of 59.3 billion soums were recorded in the system of the Committee for Roads under the Ministry of Transport (in the first half of 2020 – 981 million soums).
368 out of 454 control measures carried out in the system of the Ministry of Preschool Education, uncovered 59.2 billion soums worth violations, which is 8.5 times higher than the indicator of the previous year (7 billion soums).
Budget violations amounted to 41.7 billion soums in the Ministry of Health (2.9 times more than in the first half of 2020 – 14.1 billion soums), 24.1 billion soums – in the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services (for the same period last year – 903 million soums), 6.8 billion soums – in the Ministry of Water Management, 6.4 billion soums – in the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, 5.2 billion soums – in the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, 4.5 billion soums – in the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, 4.2 billion soums – in the Ministry of Agriculture, 3.2 billion soums – in the Ministry of Defense and others.
Materials on violations worth 369.9 billion soums, revealed during 2,696 control measures, were transferred to law enforcement agencies for a legal assessment.
