Uzbekistan will host the IV Asian Youth Games in 2025. According to the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), an agreement was signed in Muscat, Oman, between the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the host of the 2025 Asian Youth Games on the continent.
“The Assembly has officially confirmed that Tashkent will host the IV Asian Youth Games in 2025. After that, Uzbekistan and the OCA signed an agreement on conducting the competition.
The event was attended by Chairman of the NOC of Uzbekistan Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, First Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Ravshan Irmatov, Secretary-General of the NOC, Director of the IV Asian Youth Games Tashkent-2025 Oybek Kasimov and deputy chairmen and advisers of the Committee, as well as representatives of the Tashkent city administration. The agreement on Tashkent’s hosting of the 2025 Asian Youth Games was signed by OCA President Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, OCA Vice President Otabek Umarov, NOC Chairman Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, First Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Ravshan Irmatov and representative of the Tashkent city administration Izzatbek Jurayev,” the Committee said in a statement.
More than 5,000 guests are expected to visit Uzbekistan during the tournament.
