During the talks, the sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further development of trade-economic as well as cultural-humanitarian cooperation, the MIFT press service informed.
The parties stressed the successful participation of Italian companies in the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan. The growing interest of Italian businesspeople in realizing new projects in various sectors of agriculture and industry was especially noted.
The ministers reached an agreement on creating a mechanism for effective interaction to deepen bilateral business partnership, including by organizing mutual visits of business missions of the two countries and joint events with the participation of businesspeople.
Prospects for cooperation in innovation and support of youth entrepreneurship were also considered as part of the talks.
Following the negotiations, the parties noted their commitment to consistent measures to enhance effective collaboration in all areas discussed at the meeting.
