In January-October this year, Uzbekistan exported 13,310 passenger cars worth $127.2 million, the State Statistics Committee said.

The volume of exports increased by $50.9 million (66.8%) compared to the same period last year.

The main importer of Uzbekistan’s passenger cars in the reporting period was Kazakhstan, which purchased 11,048 units of vehicles for $109.8 million. Ukraine followed next ($6.4 million), preceding Azerbaijan ($6.2 million) and Russia ($2.2 million).

During the period under review, Uzbekistan imported 22,228 vehicles for $392.8 million.
