State Statistics Committee: Total income of the population amounted to 78.9 trillion soums in Jan-March

As the State Statistics Committee reported, the nominal growth rate of the population’s total income was 122.5%.

The total per capita income was 2.3 million soums, and the nominal growth rate – 120.1%.

In order to exclude the influence of price factors in the calculation of real growth rates of income, one of the main types of inflation indicators – the consumer price index (CPI) is used. Due to changes in the CPI, the real growth rate of the population’s total income compared to the same period last year was 107.6%.

In January-March 2020, the real growth rate per capita was 105.6%.

The average per capita income has been higher than the national average in the city of Tashkent (5.8 million soums), Navoi (3.6 million soums), Bukhara (2.6 million soums) and Tashkent (2.5 million soums) regions.

The lowest per capita income was recorded in Namangan (1.6 million soums), Fergana (1.7 million soums) and Kashkadarya (1.7 million soums) regions.

Navoi region (11.1%) has the highest real growth of gross per capita income. Also, the real growth of gross income per capita has been higher than the republican average in Jizzakh (7.4%), Surkhandarya (7.1%), Namangan (7.0%), Samarkand (6.2%), Fergana (5.8%) and Khorezm (5.7%) regions.

The highest share of labor income (wages of seasonal workers and income from self-employment) in the total income of the population of the regions was observed in Navoi region (81.2%). On the contrary, it was below the national average in the city of Tashkent, Samarkand, Namangan, the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Surkhandarya, Andijan and Kashkadarya regions.
