Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan in January-November 2019 increased by $9,588.0 million (33.4 percent) compared to the same period last year and amounted to $38,269.9 million, the State Statistics Committee reports.
During the period under review, exports reached $16,255.1 million (growth rate - 43.3 percent), and imports - $22,014.8 million (growth rate - 27.0 percent). A passive balance of foreign trade amounted to $5,759.7 million.
Uzbekistan maintains trade relations with 189 countries of the world. China still remains the republic’s main trading partner (19.2 percent), followed by Russia (15.2 percent), Kazakhstan (8.4 percent), the Republic of Korea (6.6 percent), Turkey (5.9 percent), Germany (2.4 percent) and Kyrgyzstan (2.0 percent).
The share of other countries in foreign trade turnover in the reporting period reached 65.8 percent ($25,184.7 million), the growth rate of foreign trade turnover, compared to the same period last year, amounted to 142.0 percent.
