A meeting with representatives of Korean companies IGIS Asset Management, KIND (Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation) and Wooju Construction Co. LTD. was held at the khokimiyat of Tashkent.
Reportedly, during the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation and reached a preliminary agreement on participation of these companies in the Yunusabad Business City construction. The agreement provides for the creation of a consortium of three companies.
“This agreement once again showed that the new urban development projects of Uzbekistan attract the attention and support of large investors from different countries,” the capital’s administration noted.
For information, IGIS Asset Management is one of the largest companies in the real estate and asset management market in the Republic of Korea. Today, the company successfully operates in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe. In particular, one of the latest IGIS Asset Management projects is the construction of a skyscraper in Frankfurt (Germany).
KIND (Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation) is a corporation created by the Government of the Republic of Korea on the basis of a public-private partnership to facilitate construction in foreign countries. KIND is supporting the implementation of projects aimed at developing urban infrastructure.
Wooju construction Co. LTD., founded in 2001, is specialized in infrastructure construction. The company’s works include such projects as reconstruction of the Takhiatash TPP and work at the Kandym gas processing complex.
