The administrative building of JSC “Business-center Samarkand”, located on the Kuk Saray Square, will be transformed into a 4-star hotel.

The hotel will be built by reducing the 14-storey building of the JSC to seven floors. Construction of a modern hotel is part of a series of investment projects related to the development of the city’s infrastructure in preparation for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in 2022, zarnews.uz reported. 
 
According to project documentation, a 30.1% stake of the JSC will be transferred to the Austrian construction company Seid Sulo Energy and Industrial Development at a “zero” redemption value.
