On April 22, in the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the grand opening of the Festival of Fine and Applied Arts, dedicated to the Year of Active Investments and Social Development, took place.
During the event, within 6 days, in Tashkent and other regions of Uzbekistan, exhibitions and master classes from outstanding artists and craftsmen, scientific conferences and fairs, fashion shows of modern and traditional clothing, as well as concert programs will be held.
The festival has an International status as diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Uzbekistan represent the culture and traditions of their countries. Along with young talents from various educational institutions of the country, this year at the Festival, participants from Iran, Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Latvia will present their works.
The events will be held in the Central Exhibition Hall, Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan, Tashkent House of Photography, Museum of Oriental Miniature art named after Kamoliddin Bekhzod, Conference Hall of the Creative Association of Artists of Uzbekistan, Ikuo Hirayama International Caravan-Sarai of Culture (ICSC) in Tashkent as well as cultural centers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions of the country.
