During a Friday meeting, the president emphasized that investment volumes have doubled over the past five months in the Kasan, Kitab, and Chirakchi districts.

At the same time, 12 mineral deposits in the region remain untapped with no industrial development having commenced. In the construction materials sector, 16 investment projects worth a total of $150 million are currently in the pipeline. Officials were instructed to auction off these deposits as well.

The president specifically stressed the importance of putting the Kitab district’s 100-hectare gold site up for auction due to its attractiveness to investors and minimal environmental impact.

In addition to this site, five other promising plots in Kitab are estimated to contain another 39 tons of gold, and in Chirakchi district, reserves of 10,000 tons of rare metals have been identified. The President has instructed the relevant agencies to begin geological exploration in these areas.
