According to him, the main focus should be on the training of coaches.
“First of all, you need to prepare good coaches. In turn, they will prepare strong players,” Del Bosque said.
“It is also necessary to study the experience of countries where football is developed and work out your own style, learning from them without blind copying. There is no one magic formula for developing football. The best way is to start training children from a very young age,” the coach added.
In July 2008, Vicente Del Bosque was appointed head coach of the Spanish national team. Under his leadership, the team won the World Cup (2010) and the European Championships (2012), became the silver medalist of the Confederations Cup (2013). From 1999 to 2003, he headed the FC Real Madrid. Del Bosque won the Premier League (2001, 2003), Spanish Super Cup (2001), Champions League (2000, 2002), UEFA Super Cup (2002) and Intercontinental Cup (2002) with the club.
