The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) has announced the world’s best top goal scorer (international goals with country and club) for 2019.
The best scorer in international tournaments was the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the award for the fifth time. After 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, he is again the Number 1 in the World, scoring 14 international goals with Portugal and 7 international goals with FC Juventus in UEFA Champions League.
Forward of the Russian FC Rostov and the national team of Uzbekistan Eldor Shomurodov was ranked 11th. Despite the fact that Shomurodov did not score any goals as part of the club in international tournaments, he managed to score 13 goals for the national team.
In the ranking, Shomuradov beat such players as Sardor Ozmun, Lionel Messi, Gabriel Jesus, Son Hyun Min, Sadio Mane and Romelu Lukaku.
