On the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Rome, the delegation of the famous Italian football club Juventus, led by the executive director for brand development and management of the Academy of Juventus Carolina Chippero, arrived in Tashkent.

The delegation of Juventus FC visited the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

During the negotiations at the Turin Polytechnic University, an agreement was reached on the establishment of the Academy of Juventus on the basis of the university campus and the parties signed a corresponding Memorandum of Understanding.

In the course of the visit, the delegation will also hold a series of meetings with the leadership and experts of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, Football Association of Uzbekistan, additionally, will visit the stadium “Milly” (formerly “Bunyodkor”).

The activity of the Academy of Juventus is aimed at promoting the harmonious and physical development of children in Italy and abroad, as well as their familiarization with the culture of football. The work of the Academy is based on an integrated approach and carried out in 6 main areas: year-round training, training camp, summer camp, training experience, training session, Juventus World Cup on football. Currently, Academy of Juventus operates in 49 countries of Europe, Asia and America covering more than 100 locations and involving more than 15,000 children.
