He competed with American Jonathan Still. Following the eight-rounds boxing, a winner was determined by unanimous decision of the judges in compliance with the gained scores - 77:75, 77:75, 78:74 in favor of Sanjar Rakhmonov.

Jonathan Still, on the other hand, has held his 11th match in the professional boxing including the fight with Sanjar Rakhmonov. He has 8 wins (6 KO’s), 1 draw and 2 losses.
