A Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas made a funny mistake while speaking about the upcoming match against Moscow’s Lokomotiv, which is to be played today in Moscow within the framework of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Casillas, walking around the Red Square, posted a note on his Twitter, mentioning the Uzbek Lokomotiv instead of the Moscow’s.
“After the experience of working on TV during the World Cup 2018, I returned to visit this beautiful city and play in the Champions League with Lokomotiv,” Casillas wrote.
But instead of the Moscow “Lokomotiv”, he tagged the Tashkent Lokomativ FC. The Uzbek club immediately replied with sincere hospitality.
“Plov is waiting for you, Iker, in Tashkent. Plov is better than borscht, and our team is stronger. You can ask Galatasaray fans about us”, the Tashkent club said.
